Welcome back, Brigaders and friends, to Buchanan.org.
Linda Muller, the lady who introduced me to the web back in 1995, and ran the Buchanan Brigade website in two presidential campaigns, has restarted Buchanan.org for a new campaign. Only this one is not to launch a presidential candidacy, but my book, out today: State of Emergency: The Third World Invasion and Conquest of America.
It is about the gravest issue facing the Republic: an unprecedented invasion of America by peoples of every culture, country, and continent that threatens the social cohesion, the national unity and survival of America as one nation and people. Folks who say this is too dramatic, too over-stated, will, I trust, read this book. For if we get this one wrong, we lose the country we grew up in.
Tony Blankley, editorial editor of the Washington Times, ran the first review and it was extraordinary. Please read it. Tony is, of course, a friend, but he is also a critic who cares deeply about our issues.
Am writing this on Saturday, August 19, before Shelley and I head off Sunday morning to New York for the launch Monday. We hope to do Imus, the Today Show, Hannity & Colmes, Fox & Friends, and other national and regional radio and TV during this first week, before returning to Washington Friday. While book-tour schedules are notoriously fluid and change from hour to hour, Linda will be keeping you updated, as I am able to keep her updated. Hope to do a bit of blogging, as well, though the computer I am taking to New York is vintage 1995. We shall see.
While we can never be sure, Linda and I are hoping to make the website a longer-term venture, as the issues before our nation — Wilsonian interventionism, the war in Iraq, the McCain-Kennedy-Bush-La Raza immigration plan, the death of manufacturing in the heartland — are the very matters on which we took our stand in those three campaigns. I believe that time has borne out the truth and wisdom of what we said, and history will say the same. In any event, it is good to be back, and we hope to hear from you, and hope you will follow Shelley and me on this latest campaign.
