What to make of Sarah Palin’s remarks yesterday on “Fox News Sunday”? Here she is sharing her wisdom about what it might take for Obama to get re-elected:
Say he played, and I got this from Buchanan, reading one of his columns the other day. Say he played the war card. Say he decided to declare war on Iran, or decided to really come out and do whatever he could to support Israel, which I would like him to do. But that changes the dynamics in what we can assume is going to happen between now and three years. Because I think if the election were today, I do not think Obama would be re-elected.
… if he decided to toughen up and do all that he can to secure our nation and our allies. I think people would perhaps shift their thinking a little bit and decide, well, maybe he’s tougher than we think he is today. And there wouldn’t be as much passion to make sure that he doesn’t serve another four years –
She’s read Pat Buchanan’s column on Obama playing the war card, which is great — she’s cribbing her commentary from the best. But when she adds her own spin, it’s to hope that Obama would “do whatever he could do to support Israel” — meaning what exactly? In the context, it sounds like she thinks starting more wars in the Middle East, or taking measures that are likely to lead to more wars, is good for Israel and therefore ought to be American policy. I don’t think for her “do whatever he could do to support Israel” means hosting talks at Camp David.
Palin wants to be, simultaneously, Pitchfork Sarah and Bill Kristol’s very own Eliza Doolittle. But she’s much more the latter than the former. There’s no room for doubt here: Sarah Palin means war.

Palin may be misreading Pat but she is reading the neo-con line extremely well these days. She will not know about The Creature from Jeckyll Island, but she will clicked to the neo-con tune of war-mongering. (Better than Obama, though.) But, what’s worse, Palin is sucking up the whole globalist line, for She is being groomed by the same old enemy, and when she is fully groomed she will be very useful indeed in 2012. Palin went to Texas and endorsed the incumbent governor Perry for his re-election bid, one of the most important, to the Bilderbergs, and generally beholdent in the country. With Palkin, you can forget about borders, because Perry has. What’s more, a truly exciting young star in Texas politics is Debra Medina, whom Palin should have endorsed — which would have meant so much to many, many Texans.
This article leaves no doubt in my mind that Palin is just another neocon stooge ready to betray PJB conservatives as Bush did. The Tea Party movement will be lead into the neocon orbit by Palin and her ilk as well. I have a prediction: the GOP will run Palin or somebody else just like her for President in 2012. Forget about the national Republican Party supporting anyone advocating an end to illegal immigration, putting a moratorium on legal immigration, ending affirmative action policies when hiring, getting out of public education, bringing our troops abroad home, etc. There are more issues but I think you get the picture.
God help us if the neos get our country into a war with Iran! It’s a recipe for disaster the likes of which we haven’t seen. Wait until the stock market completely tanks and a barrel of oil is going for $300. But Israel’s interests must always come before ours regardless of the consequences we shall suffer.
Thomas, you are absolutely correct. Palin is terrible. I wasn’t a fan of hers right from the start. I know Pat was, but I think Pat was struck by her beauty and the story of her being a Buchanan Brigader… I was one and Palin certainly isn’t. She is turning into the McCain/Kristol type…. Supporting Israel will come at all costs… Borders??? Most of the Neo-Cons don’t care. They talk about laws being broken, but really don’t care. Kristol even once said, and I am paraphrasing, that he didn’t think the border issue was that big of a deal… How we are being duped…
Sarah was just too good to be real. Too bad. But taking her place as the true champion of the C-party (c for constitution and bonafied libertarian-conservatism) is Debra Medina, who handles herself very much on her feet, thank you very much. No deer-in-the-headlights airhead is Debra Medina. After listening to her on Alex Jones radio show last week, I’d say she’ll make mincemeat of Katie Cutie any day. Maybe this is why Palin snubbed her. Big BIG mistake, Palin.
Could there have ever been any doubt?
Any respect I MAY have had for her went out the window during the campaign when she suggested we should allow Georgia to enter NATO so we could go to war with Russia…
Despite her popularity with some, I believe she’s Another Empty Suit!! If she’s really SMART…she’ll stick with Fox News as a contributor only, forget any aspirations for political office , make money with pep speeches and keep her popularity in a different vein.
In her case, “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing”.
She’s an idiot!…Pretty, charming, but an idiot……Bill Krystol and the neocons have manipulated her unbridled ambitions, inorder to confuse ignorant middleclass americans, and seize control of the principled but naive “Tea Party”
Otherwise, the ZIONIST will use her like a dirt road to Gaza!
I never cared for Sarah outside of her looks so I wouldn’t worry too much about her or her comments. She’s a pretty face. She’s like Romney, she’s all looks and flash with no substance.
She makes a good gov. or congresswoman from a smaller state like Alaska, but she could never win a national primary, much less a national election for a variety of reasons.
Mainly sexism. Men in this country, esp. Republican men will NEVER elect a woman unless she has balls of steel bigger than Nixon’s. And that won’t happen anytime soon.
She’s a media star and a media hound. MSNBC and others go after her — she’s a talking pts. magnet. In 2006 who would have thought Obama would win in 2008? Same here, this woman was propelled to the top because of luck and a fluke of history.
She has no staying power and no electoral viability. A nice lady but too much flash and not enough substance.
Palin is being positioned to break up the constitution (”tea”) party and coopt it in order to re-elect Obama and allow the global corporate takeover to continue. If Obama completely loses it, which even the Jeds must realize by now is a real possibility, Palin will continue the neo-con/fascist agenda, which is almost identical, though not preferable, to the Obama socialist/fascist agenda.
It is now all too evident that in spite of her home-grown, golly-gee political persona is but a variant of Bush’s ew-shucks, I’m just a cowboy persona. Nothing really more to be found there. She is an empty vessel which the neo-cons are happily filling up.
Back in ‘09, I phoned G. Edward Griffin and proposed that we send a nephew of a friend of mine who works for Palin a signed copy of his book, The Creature from Jeckyll Island, before the neo-cons got to her, as I knew they would. It never got done. Of course, the Vast Machine was probably listening to our phone conversation, and realized they’d better hop to it, themselves, before G. Edward and the constitutionalists got to her.
Of course, truth has a way of trumping the BS, so it may not be too late, even now.
That misguided bimbo is the only reason I didn’t vote for McCain. For the Nation’s most prestigious position, double-digit IQs “Need Not Apply,” thank you. Leave the “flash” in Hollywood.
Why would any conservative vote for a candidate who fails reading comprehension? Pat Buchanan has long been against the Iraq war and has consistently been against starting a war with Iran.
Does anyone else think that Sarah Palin is an audacious interloper, an agent of “Our Greatest Ally,” City of London, Wall Street and the Washington wizards?
Audaciously cozying with Patrick Buchanan to insinuate to Tea Party followers that she is sympatico with what real conservatives stand for. Is that why the Tea Party movement came about? Did the people rise up and come together from the countryside and streets to rally for more support for Israel to ameliorate its underrepresentation in Washington, the UN, Europe and NATO, etc.?
No, even AIPAC doesn’t have enough “chutzah” to say…oh I’m probably wrong on that. Washington’s concern for Israel for exceeds its concern for America.
That is why Washington gives Israel exceeding surpluses even while further bankrupting and abusing already spent, tired and penniless Americans.
If Sarah Palin’s first concern is Israel then it cannot be America, do you understand? There is no slack left for masses of Americans to be ignoramuses. Do you think that because Sarah Palin wears glasses that LOOK LIKE protective shooting glasses and that she did a photo op shooting a rifle that she is some sort of bedrock American traditionalist and Constitutionalist despite the fact that all the things she has strenuously supported are precisely the same things as Clinton Bush Obama? Or, simple Americans, are you falling for her shapely figure and excusing yourselves because the unturned stone looks “conservative.”
Really, are you out of your minds? Movement after movement, party after party, and congress after congress only one group has gotten its way, and that is the group mentioned in the first paragraph. Look me ’straight in the eye’ and tell me, when (and how) are we going to get America back!
The idea of America, freedom and liberty itself, it is known by all, demand at times sacrifice in taking down the sources of tyranny. Tyranny is, after all, the exact opposite of freedom. If freedom is going to go, what form did you think it was going to take? Does it matter?
C’mon.
One of the interesting things about 2012 is we have some good candidates but all are flawed in some way. If you’re a student of management, you know that this means any of them have the potential to be really good Presidents if they play to their own strengths. Palin is intelligent and she has that visceral negative reaction to liberalism – she hasn’t built up the antibodies like McCain or Romney.
