I voted for you all three times when you ran for president 1992,1996,& 2000. I left the Republican Party after I watched what they did to you. I first found about you in 1987 and miss the days when you were on Cross Fire on CNN. I am reading your latest book, Suicide of a Superpower. Pat you should be on Fox you have so much wisdom to share we really need your insight. By the way, my parents were born in 1938 as well, a lot of good came out of that year. Your friend, Dr. Louis F. Blakley

miss you

I recently read your book Suicide of a Superpower and wanted to say that it was 1 of my all time favorite books....I literally couldn't stop reading it!..I read a lot of your columns and enjoy reading them. Keep up the great work. I don't understand why people ( especially in the media ) call u and your writings bigoted and racial. The facts don't lie. I look 4 ward to future readings from you...

Outstanding Historian

For many years, I have been deeply enriched and enlightened by the writings and spoken words of Pat Buchanan. I am currently reading his “Suicide of a Superpower” and although disturbing, it brings, as always, the valuable lessons of history into the present. While reading Pat’s writings, I at times find myself asking the question; how can one man know and understand so much? I count myself as one of his students and am very grateful that he has taken the time to teach so many of us.

Pat I admire you for many reasons, but in particular for your religious zeal. As a 25 year old Catholic conservative I greatly admire how you stand up for our shared faith. God bless you Pat.

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to read your commentary twice a week. I constantly quote you when debating friends or family on FP. Being from NJ I obviously disagree with you on some issues but your insights are always taken seriously and carefully considered. Keep up the good work. MSNBC is worse off w/o you.

I guess it didnt survive past 2012; one could make the case it didnt survive past 1933 - just a long incremental take down - God bless you brother - you should join Alex Jones' staff.

Thanks for the Education

It may sound a bit odd, but I never thought to Google your name before. Having found this convenient way of saying it, I thought I'd say "thanks" for the education. I am just a middle-aged driver, only two years of college, but thanks to your books and columns, I have learned a very great deal. Although I think I first heard of Edmund Burke and Russell Kirk via Rod Dreher's CRUNCHY CONS, it was you who convinced me to read them. Since that time, I've read Dr. Kirk's THE CONSERVATIVE MIND and AMERICA'S BRITISH CULTURE and am now busy at work on his THE POLITICS OF PRUDENCE. I've also read Burke's REFLECTIONS ON THE REVOLUTION IN FRANCE, NOTES AND SPEECHES ON THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, and LETTERS ON A REGICIDE PEACE. Were it not for your books, I never would have looked into the issue of "free trade." In short, as a result of reading your books, I have gained immensely. Thank you so much for writing them.

I would just like to say thank you to Mr. Buchanan for his work, and his continuous efforts to enlighten people to the truth. He\'s the greatest president we never had, and one of the few champions of American ideals. God bless you Pat!

Thank you, Pat, for your courage in telling the (unwelcome) truth and defending our values. Don't let them stop you; people need to hear what you have to say, especially in our age when brave and principled men are so hard to find. God bless you, always.

When will you be joining Fox TV? You would be a perfect fit for their information strategy and views of the world and politics.

Pat I love you, and respect you no end. I read everything you write. We are in serious trouble in our beautiful country and I hope our good God will amplify your words and works to help us all out of this terrible mess, but I'm afraid He will chastise us before doing so. Please know that very many love you and care about you, as do I. Keep on truckin...Mike

Don\'t let msnbc management slow you down. You were right on with you book. Most people that I know agree with you. The gov. and news media are not tuned in on how close your comments are to the real people.

I am reading your book and its a great one and tells it like it is. Bless your bones; America needs so many more real Americans with your writing and research skills and with the guts and courage to speak up and out in the face of the American voters who have no idea or do not care what is really happening to America. Dont let up.

Thank You

As an American patriot I found Suicide of a Superpower quite unsettling, only because I believe you to be absolutely on target. I used to be hopelssly optimistic but have now lived long enough and seen enough to know that our course is more than likely set in stone. I mourn for the country that I love but in the end, our death will indeed be self inflicted. Sad.

I was very surprised that Chris Matthews didn\'t come to your defense with MSNBC. Also that MSNBC took on that notorious anti-white bigot Al Sharpton. You\'re well rid of that gang . Find another network, but please, not FOX. I read your column regularly and like what you write. Any chance now that you have some leisure time of your coming and addressing our group Mid-Coast Forum on Foreign Relations when the weather gets better?. All the best.
