UPDATE: The site is rebuilt from the ground up. Beautiful, clean code, finally it’s error free and validates XHTML Strict. The CSS still needs work but I’m not freaking out over it. This week I’ll add some new components — permanent sections for weekly polls, Podcasts, books, videos, and more. And I will set up the ability for you to post comments on the content. Stand by.

Dear Brigade, I’ll post this note whenever I’m working on the site so you will not be concerned.
Thanks to the last hacker attack, I’m taking the time to redesign the site, add new features, and give it a complete makeover.
So if you see odd colors, misaligned columns, error messages, etc, just know I’m probably tweaking the CSS, PHP, or testing plugins.

Thank you for all your hard work in getting the website updated and especially with the comments section up and running. What fun!
Linda, suggestion if I may. The Brigade Members did not get a notification that the comments section is active (at least I did not get one). All we received was a note that you were planning to get it active along with re-doing the website.
There are many regular posters who, I’m sure, would love to get a notice that they are able to post now. Please send out an update to the Brigade. Thanks again for your help.
I’ll send a note – soon. I’m not really ready for everyone to check out the site. I am still doing a lot of code tweaking, plugin testing and design trials. And we have a bunch of stuff going on in our town [meetings, event planning, etc]. I hope to have all of the site finished in 1-2 weeks. Thanks Fran.
Linda, thanks for upgrading the posting section with being able to edit, delete, etc. It took me awhile to be able to post, however, because when I logged in, I received a note to the effect that I was not able to acess the site. I know a couple of original, regular posters who are trying to post again and I have sent them instructions (what I could recall) on registering with INSTANT DEBATE. I'm sure that there are many others who are confused about being able to post again. I know you are still tweaking the website but it would be helpful if you can send directions on log in and then registering on instant debatel Thanks again.

Linda, I again want to thank you for such a great website. As you know a "forum" section was used quite a bit in the past with various posters on many different topics of interest. I know you are attempting to get one started again but the costs are expensive. For all those loyal Pat Buchanan fans especially who are reading Pat's columns and enjoying other informative topics, I ask that you send even a small donation to Linda Muller so she will be able to effect a new forum and we can really get into some serious talks about the events of today.__It won't take much to get the forum going again but we need your help.
