It’s past 10pm, but work has just begun for the group of vigilantes in a small white hatchback patrolling the streets of Pisgat Ze’ev — a Jewish settlement on the outskirts of east Jerusalem.
As the car crawls through the nearly empty streets, the men peer out at couples. They say they are experts at spotting those that don’t “match”.
“Stop, right there. Stop the car. Is he an Arab? That dark guy… If they are both Jewish, keep the car moving!” yells out ‘David’, a 31-year-old Jewish settler who does not use his real name.
For more than a decade, David has considered it his unofficial job to patrol the streets looking for mixed Arab-Jewish couples. “We are protecting the Jewish people, our traditions, our heritage. Some people just get mixed up. We talk to them, explain why it’s important for Jews to be with Jews,” he said.
His group, which works with police, goes by several names, including Fire for Judaism, is composed of up to 45 men and funded by private donations. Members say they are fighting a “growing epidemic” of Arab-Jewish dating and spend as many hours as they can on patrol.
Similar groups have formed across the country, including in the southern Negev city of Beersheba, and northern port of Haifa. In Petah Tikva, a blue-collar city in the centre of Israel, the municipality has formed a unit to discourage Arab-Jewish relationships.
In Pisgat Ze’ev, the growing number of Arab-Jewish couples is seen as the result of more Jewish settlements in Arab east Jerusalem.
“The problem is always with Jewish girls dating Arab men. The Arab guy comes and buys them things, treats them well. They fall for it. They can’t see what they are doing,” says David.
Sarah, who asked not to use her real name, said it is men like David who are the problem, not her Arab boyfriend, Zadar. “I’m not stupid, or gullible or looking for trouble. I’m a Jewish girl who happened to meet a guy I like, who happens to be Arab. It’s my business. We have to go other places to go on dates, places where these guys won’t find us,” she said…

This is one of the reasons I admire Pat so much. Despite all the labels and catcalls about being an "anti-semite", he will still speak the uncomfortable truth. That white elephant in the room that folks carefully tiptoe around, afraid of the same label or to become a pariah among others. When folks can't talk about Israel or how Israel treats it's own neighbors, that is by definition "terror" as well. Terror of losing free inquiry, and the belief no matter what national you are, you have a RIGHT of conscience.
"Truth shall set you free" is true, not "Let's hunker down in a bunker and make the world our enemy to justify our existence". Let the Holy Land remain Holy, not a political war zone with all the sins of Mankind, like what this article reveals. God's love is all that matters.
So, where's the ADL and SPLC of Israel?………….And the "vigilente" speaks of his culture and devine race? Never has racism existed any more than it does in Israel, making the sixties in the South look like liberal fanatics. What hipocracy!

Racism is a terrible trait. I hope that someday Jews learn to live with other people and accept others for who they are.
But isn't it ironic how these bigots call all the shots. The UN has just released the Goldstone Report which condemned Israel for war crimes in Gaza. But you wouldn't know it for any news media that reported on it. Because the report also contained a few lines criticizing Palestinian actions, the media reports that both sides were guilty. They are deliberately reporting the story inaccurately. Ninety nine percent of the report criticized Israel's murder of 1,400 Palestinians and one percent of the report criticized Palestinian actions. Twelve Israelis died.
The western powers actions (and inaction) demonstrate their collaboration in these war crimes. Although Israel attacked and massacred 1,400 Palestinians , the western government's (USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, etc.) said nothing. Indeed they supported it. These governments have participated in a blockade of goods sent into Gaza. The Palestinians are barely surviving.
Iran is the only country that openly supports the Palestinians. They also support Hezbollah. Hezbollah was founded as a national liberation movement in Lebanon in 1982 to throw the Israeli invaders out after they murdered thousands including overseeing the massacres at the Sabra and Shatila camps.
The Iranian President Ahmadinejad also makes statements questioning the holocaust (or certain aspects of it). He, like every other leader in the UN is fully aware that the holocaust is used as justification by the Israelis for starting wars, murdering Arabs and threatening the entire middle east and parts of Africa. The sympathy Jews have accrued after forty years of endless discussion of the holocaust gives Israel carte blanche to do almost anything. Jews are fully aware of this and that is why the discussion never ends. The holocaust is why the world is completely silent when Israelis are massacring 1,400 Palestinians in Gaza.
But because Iran's president questions the holocaust and supports the people the Israelis are murdering, the USA and the other western lackey's have pumped up the rhetoric in the press so it sounds like the USA or Israel are justified in attacking Iran and will do so soon.
You wouldn't know it from the press (100% pro Israel), but Iran is completely within its rights under the IAEA treaty it signed. It does not have to report a nuclear facility immediately or in fact for years. Iran reported this facility in fact earlier than it was required to. But Obama appears to want to attack anyway. Iran is a signatory of the treaty and has abided by its rules, while Israel has not signed the treaty, has an estimated 150 nuclear missiles and everything it does is in complete secrecy. No outsider has ever seen their facilities. But the inspectors have been inspecting Iran's facilities for years despite American harassment of Iran.
Regarding Ahmadinejad's statements about the holocaust, whatever happened to freedom of speech, or is that only good for American's and British. That would help explain why America overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran in 1953 and installed a dictator – The Shah.
