Questions About Pat, His Books, and More
Question:
- Is this really Pat Buchanan’s official website?
Answer:
- Yes.
Question:
- I want to order autographed copies of Pat Buchanan’s books. I also want Pat to personalize a few books for my friends. Where is the best place to get them?
Answer:
- Right here on Pat’s website. Check out our PJB Shop where you can order books and more.
Question:
- What type of payment options do you offer in the PJB Shop?
Answer:
- Once you make your order selections you will have the option to print a form and mail it in with a check or money order. You can also select PayPal if you prefer to use credit cards or E-Checks. Note that you do not have to be a PayPal member to use their credit card forms.
Question:
- How long does it take to get my order in the mail?
Answer:
- Usually a week or two. It all depends on whether Pat is traveling or not. Each book is signed only after the order is placed.
Question:
- What is the best way to make sure I don’t miss out on news about Pat’s book signings, articles, or media events?
Answer:
- Subscribe to our For the Cause [FTC] email list. See the “Subscribe” form in the right-hand column of our site.
Question:
- I have a message I want to send to Pat. What is the best way to do it?
Answer:
- If it’s not a private message, the best way is to post it on our website using the comment form at the bottom of any appropriate articles. This way, everyone will have the opportunity to read it - not only me or Pat - but all the visitors to our website. Otherwise, use the “Contact” form link located in the left column of our site.
Tech and Website Questions
Question:
- Help! I already registered but can’t log in anymore to post a comment!
Answer:
- Make sure you use the same upper and lower case letters you used when you first registered. For example if you registered with the User Name, “BIGBOY” - don’t try to log in with, “BigBoy” - it won’t work. Same goes for your email address.
Question:
- I’m using the “EMail This Post” feature at the bottom of an article, but received an error message that I did not enter the correct, “Image Verification.” I know I entered the correct letters and numbers, what happened?
Answer:
- Make sure you use the exact upper and lower case letters that you see in the “image” window. For example if it shows “4TMC3Q” - don’t enter, “4tmc3q” - it won’t work.
Question:
- I wrote a comment but it did not post on the website. Are you censoring free speech?
Answer:
- We have a few basic guidelines for comments posted on our site. This blog has an automated filter set up to put some comments on temporary hold until I can review them. Foul language and certain words may trigger the filter.
Question:
- Can I add links in my comment?
Answer:
- Adding links to other websites will also put your comment on hold. There are two reasons why I want to review links before they are posted on our site:
- We do not want to link to inappropriate websites or boost sales for unscrupulous vendors.
- Long links, that is, links with more than 20-25 characters in them throw the design of our site into disarray. The result is that the long links forces the article down to the bottom of the screen. If you want to include a link longer than 25 characters, please use a program such as Tiny URL to reduce the size. Trackbacks are fine, but only one link per comment.
Question:
- I wrote a comment and it made it past the filter but it was removed. Are you censoring free speech?
Answer:
- Yes. As webmaster I make most of the decisions on this website, and that includes content. There are numerous reasons why a post might be removed including: It was written in ALL CAPS which indicates “shouting” and is difficult to read; the comment was off-topic from the subject of the article; it was just too darn long - keep it brief; or it was personally inflammatory toward others.
Question:
- Why do I need to log in to read the articles?
Answer:
- You don’t need to log in unless you want to write a comment or post a message in the Forum.
