WebNote from Linda: Well that’s it. Now there is never any reason to watch CNN again. After Pat Buchanan left CNN, Lou Dobbs was the only patriot left standing to have a full time news anchor position – on any network.
Nightly he exposed corruption in state and federal government. Dobbs stood strong against the New World Order, Global Government, NAFTA, the WTO, CAFTA, the North American Union and all anti-sovereignty trade pacts.
Lou was always on the front lines in the battle against Illegal Immigration, Government Surveillance of the American people, Imminent Domain laws forcing property owners out of their family residences, Banker and Big Business Bailouts, massive Tax Swindles on the Middle Class, gun-grabbing Second Amendment legislation and the list goes on and on. We can only hope that he will continue with his exposés and focus heavily on the corporate/government official propaganda agent – the Main Stream Media. God speed to Lou and his continuing efforts to bring some sanity back to American government.

CNN’s Lou Dobbs announced Wednesday night on his show that he is leaving the network. Here is a transcript of those remarks.
Dobbs: Tonight, I want to turn to a personal note if I may and address a matter that has raised some curiosity.
This will be my last broadcast here on CNN, where I have worked for most of the past 30 years and where I have many friends and colleagues whom I admire deeply and respect greatly.
I’m the last of the original anchors here on CNN, and I’m proud to have had the privilege of helping to build the world’s first news network. I am grateful for the many opportunities that CNN has given me over these many years, I’ve tried to reciprocate with the full measure of my ability and my energy.
Over the past six months, it’s become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem-solving, as well as to contribute positively to a better understanding of the great issues of our day. And to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible.
I’ve talked extensively with Jonathan Klein; Jon’s the president of CNN, and as a result of those talks, Jon and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue new opportunities.
At this point, I’m considering a number of options and directions and I assure you I will let you know when I set my course.
I truly believe that the major issues of our time include the growth of our middle class, the creation of more jobs, health care, immigration policy, the environment, climate change, and our military involvement, of course, in Afghanistan and Iraq.
But each of those issues is in my opinion informed by our capacity to demonstrate strong resilience of our now weakened capitalist economy and demonstrate the political will to overcome the lack of true representation in Washington, D.C. I believe these to be profoundly critically important issues and I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwardly with those issues in the future.
Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideology rather than by rigorous empirical thought and forthright analysis and discussion. I’ll be working diligently to change that as best I can. And, as for the important work of restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive as well to be a leader in that national conversation….

Lou was a victim of constant threatening telephone calls and an incident at his home where shots were fired into his house. La Raza and similar were probably behind these incidences. Many liberal organizations have been calling for his head for quite some time.
Lou has been an outstanding representative for the middle class and has uncovered many falsehoods that were “spinned” out there for gullible people to swallow at news time. He was instrumental in helping to get the two border agents who were wrongfully convicted, released from prison.
If he should decide to enter the political arena as a third party candidate, I believe he will do very well. We need someone like him that has the publics attention and the strong ability to know what is right and wrong with the governance of this county and to effect real change.
I hear Ron Paul may very well run in 2012. I do not want to see anyone in the race who will split the vote during the primaries. This is what happened to Pat Buchanan. I believe it was the Neocons who ran Alan Keyes against Pat — specifically to split the vote of conservative pro-lifers and Christians. I was on the front lines through all of Pat’s campaigns and I witnessed some very dirty behind-the-scene tricks.
I like Lou Dobbs — but he will never be president. Bringing him into the race will only hurt Ron Paul — and us.
Lou Dobbs was like a “Voice In The Wilderness” against our failed experiment in diversity and multiculturalism………His understanding and pragmatic insite into immigration will be greatly missed………CNN had little else to offer.
I am an American of Mexican decent but I am American first. I am 100% behind Lou Dobb’s insights on what is going on with illegal immigration. I know because I moved to the barrio in order to make ends meet. The people in this community consider me a “Sellout” and they do not have any loyalty to the USA. I have heard the opinions of illegal aliens in this community . I have heard their conversations first hand. They insult me because my Spanish has faded somewhat, yet they don’t seem to understand that it is good to remember where you came from and enjoy some cultural treasures of being Mexican but why can’t we also embrace America’s way of life and its cultural treasures.
I grew up in the late 60’s when the public schools did not teach bilingual education. Instead we were taught to speak Engish and to assimilate. I am so greatful that my family did assimilate. The best thing that hispanics can do is to incorporate the American Way of Life. I love this country. I just hope that Lou will continue to shed light on the truth about illegal immigration.

Ron Paul knows that His Own Party along with the Democrat Party are Sole OUT to the Wall Street Globalist Agenda. Our Two Main Party’s are Corrupt as HELL and under Total Control all of out Prominent Politicians in Washington DC. Larry — I never said anything about “splitting the PARTY.” I said I did not want the “VOTE” split away from Ron Paul. Do you understand the difference?
Third parties, like the Constitution Party, did not endorse Ron Paul during the primaries. They sat back and waited for him to fail so they could run their candidate. This fact is very telling. They put their Party above principle. They knew Ron Paul needed their cross-endorsements and their members to help get out the vote. Instead, all these 3rd parties who scream about the demise of the Constitution, the endless wars, the battle against abortion, et. al. stood silent and let Ron Paul and all of us down.
FYI — I worked for Howard Phillips and the CP 1997-99 – in the Vienna, VA office. I was a hard-core supporter. And I need no education on the NWO. I’ve been in the battle full-time since 1990. And I’m not GOP, or DEM, or any other tag-line the elite have devised to divide and manipulate the American people.
Ron Paul only stays with the Republican Party because he knows the Time has not been quite Ripe for a Political Revolution…. Even though Ron Paul is Hoping for that Revolution. He has made No Secret of the Need for some kind of Revolutionary Thinking and Movement. Exactly, Linda… The only reason I bother tuning-in CNN now is to make note of who their advertisers are so I’m SURE not do do business with them.
But unless it is known that Paul would run as an independent, what harm is it for Paul to run in the primary and Dobbs in the general?
In any case, one could not fault Dobbs as much as the CP for lightly competing with Paul, since Dobbs is considerably different ideologically. I do not think he endorses Austrian economics.
