Tonight at Columbia University Free Speech took quite the hit. At an event hosted by the college Republicans at Columbia we were reminded that the left advocates free speech only for those who regurgitate the same tripe that they spew. This evening Minuteman founder Jim Gilchrist was attacked by members of left-wing groups while on campus to give a speech at the behest of the College Republicans. Members of a University sanctioned Chicano group, the university chapter of the socialists and other fringe groups rushed the stage and started a melee just as Gilchrist began his speech. Chanting slogans like racist and KKK the group never afforded Gilchrist the chance to speak….
