If it walks, talks, swims, and acts like a crook, it’s a crook……………..When does the U.S. Citizen say, “ENOUGH!”…..The handlers of that crisis have now moved on to create even larger crisis’s. And the blueprint for their goals are clearly out in the open for all to see.

What a day of hateful allegations and rewriting the rules of engagement.
Yes, my friends, and now Governor Palin is a scholar on anti-Vietnam War militants and a historian on the Savings and Loan Scandal.
For the record, until this weekend the VP wannabe believed the “Weathermen” were Al Roker and Willard Scott and the “Keating 5″ were an opening act for Three Dog Night!
Pat, you must awake in the middle of the night, terrified that this “attractive and coherent” woman would be in a position of power, not including hunting from helicopters.

I’d like to add a wrinkle.

What use is regulation when you have politicians blocking actions of the regulators? Like the Keating-5 with the savings and loan thing, and Barney Frank with Fannie and Freddie?

AHHH! NOW I GET IT! McCain isn’t blaming Barney Frank and the Democrats because the Democrats can turn around and remind McCain (and the 50 cameras+microphones) that he did the same thing with Lincoln Savings and Loan!

Every time I hear our friend (well he does refer to us as “my friends” incessantly) talk about change it makes me want to put my foot through the TV screen. It is abundently clear to me that John Mc Cain will say or do anything to feed his ego and get elected, to hell with the truth. The straight talk express got derailed a long long time ago.

Another weak hit peice. This guys says the government should be in the business of regulating what? Behaviour? The government should just controll everything right? I mean if they are going to regulate greed, what about sloth, envy, or adultery. The only thing metioned in this video about the outcome of the report said McCain “used poor judgment” thats it. Are you people five year olds or what? “Dont vote for McCain, he eats boggers!” How about offering real solutions? Oh wait, you dont have any, or any that have a snowballs chance of becoming reality.

Way off Paleo. I am a thirty three year old married Christian father of 4. Son of a Confederate and WW2 veteran, and benificiary of their sacrifices. I am sick of seeing my country ripped away and given to people who sit on their buts and complain and look for handouts. I work a forty hour week outside the home, and the rest of the week I work at home. You can call me “one of them” all you want. All I see on this website are people that are curling up into a little ball in the corner of their parents basement crying softly saying,” Third party, sniffle sniffle, third party.” Meanwhile the freaking communists have almost reached the most powerful post in the world. Your priorities are way out of wack. Thanks for helping lose any future my kids and grandkids may have had. Lets just hand it over to the third world rejects huh?

The government should be in the business of creating the currency (money or credit) by order of the U.S. Constitution, interest free. The government should create enough money for its own operations (administration, judicial, recording of property ownership, etc.); so their is no need for income taxes to fund these things. Once the currency is created, it must be regulated to the extent that it remains within the sovereign economic boundaries of the U.S.

What this video clip brings to light is the depth of the corruption and criminal behavior of the government. This behavior must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Free markets can exist only within sovereign economic and political boundaries. No economic system will work when dishonesty prevails, especially when the people’s representatives are self serving or serving special interests.

Bestdaysahead, contrary to crying softly, I am screaming “Third party, Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin.”

McCain is a much a maverick as Aunt Bea is a super model. He has repeatedly betrayed the American people illegal alien amnesty being just the latest in a series of betrayals. Can he be bought? It sure looks like he is the corporation’s boy. Corruption in the District of Corruption has been greatly accelerated since the days of the Keating 5. If you put lipstick on a pig (McCain) it is still a pig. Palin was his lipstick that’s all.

Great video, we need regulation and we need independent ethics evaluators. Capitalism without restraints led to the horrors Charles Dickens wrote about in 19th Century, child labor, dreadful working conditions. Some people think its Ok to make $150 million dollars even though their company fails under their leadership… like the clown who ran Lehmans. He believes he deserves it, for what, and the AIG guys spending $400,000 on spas and golf, money loaned by the taxpayer, thats Ok too. I’m sick of these free market fundamentalists, they are our Financial Taliban and we should bomb them all the way to the Federal Penitentiary

Heck I say put them in with the beasts in the State prisons. My mother worked in several Federal Prisons and it’s practically a Country Club.

The World Financial System in 2008 now resembles the wreckage of the World Trade Center in 2001. The NEOCONed Republican Party has been a fraud that runs from the WTC, to the Iraq War, to the limitless leverage of a Lehman Brothers that was levered “67-to-1″.

McCain has been the oblivious and willing tool of a corrupt and deluded NEOCON cartel. Keating was an omen; WTC-7 was the warning; Katrina was confirmation. This country and the Republican Party now wanders aimlessly in the wreckage of a collapsing economy, ideology and nation.

Even now, the FED & SEC are only discussing a PARTIAL system of controls on off-balance sheets deals, for debt swaps only, from institutions that have wreaked unprecedented havoc on America:

    BLOOMBERG QUOTE:
“Fed Sets Deadline for Details on Backing Credit Swaps”

Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) — The Federal Reserve has given U.S. futures exchanges until Oct. 31 to present written plans on how they’ll make the $55 trillion credit swaps market less risky, according to four people familiar with the discussions.
